PSP2 - Rumour or fact?
According to a snippet of juicy info in this month's Official PlayStation Magazine, developers are already working on games for the PSP2 with a potential release date of 2010.
Sony's been denying and avoiding talk of the increasing amount of PSP2, such as chip manufacturers bidding for the rights and previous rumours of developers working on software for a new handheld system.
The likes of Atari have distanced themselves from the psp and this adds weight to the industry suspicion that a new system is on the horizon.
Sony's been struggling to keep their console heads above water everywhere except for the native shores, and has even gone as far as to send out public surveys asking punters what features would persuade them to go out and buy another psp - all subtle road signs pointing toward a new hardware town or a sign that perhaps a truly secure psp does nothing for sales.
The focus surely has to be on a greater game range of truly great titles, no matter what the power of a new psp without games and developers backing it, it is likely to suffer the same low sales.
Who know's? Maybe not even Sony.......
Latest Information
Hi, I finally managed to get some time to get the front page back up, but as you can see due to the ***ker who hacked us we have lost alot of our data and will be starting from scratch, the forums are still ok it's just the front page that needs re doing so please be patient while we get things back with our articles and stuff.
This front page will be for information only, registrations and access to this area are disabled.
At the moment there seems to be not a lot happening in the PSP scene and we are seeing well know developers leaving the PSP for other ventures like the Wii, I have not looked at Wii development yet, but will start looking into iPhone development (but only for a jailbroken iPhone) as well as staying with the PSP.
I would like to wish all our members and guests a late Happy New Year, let's hope we can get through it if you know what I mean.
Best Regards
